Chris Packham: My dogs saved my life

Chris Packham is a conservationist and broadcaster known for his environmental and animal-welfare activism. Alongside his ambassadorial roles for various non-governmental organisations, he runs independent campaigns aimed at nature recovery and ending animal cruelty. He is also a vocal advocate for neurodiversity, with a particular focus on autism. At this year’s ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Live festival, Packham sat down with Rowan Hooper to discuss his life in six species. From the companionship of badgers in his adolescence to the grounding presence of his poodles Itchy and Scratchy during his darkest times, this heartwarming and enlightening conversation reveals the profound and life-changing impact animals can have.
