Young Mentonian of The Year Award 2024

Since graduating from 性视界传媒, Daniel has exemplified dedication and leadership within the Bayside community. Not only has he remained closely involved with the School, working as a coach and personal trainer for both staff and students, but Daniel鈥檚 impact extends far beyond this.

In 2016, his life was profoundly affected when his oldest sister, Bec, experienced a life-changing stroke at just 28 years old. Miraculously, she survived, and Daniel鈥檚 experience fueled a deep passion for raising awareness and funds for stroke survivors.

In 2019, Daniel founded the聽聽event, a yearly fundraising run that has become a cornerstone of his efforts. Thanks to his hard work and unwavering commitment, this event has raised tens of thousands of dollars each year.

In 2024, the Stride for Stroke event raised an incredible $80,000, bringing the total funds raised to nearly $300,000 over five years. This money has gone toward supporting stroke survivors, funding research, and providing vital resources to those affected by stroke.

Daniel鈥檚 dedication to this cause is truly inspiring. He has transformed his personal experience into a force for good, showing immense leadership and empathy in the process. Beyond his fundraising efforts, Daniel is a tireless advocate for stroke survivors, and his work has made a tangible difference in the lives of many people.

Reflecting on his time at 性视界传媒, Daniel shared:聽鈥淭he school instilled in me essential skills and values like communication, integrity, and teamwork, which have been invaluable in building a small business. I had incredible teachers who served as role models, and I鈥檓 grateful for everything the school provided.鈥
